Michael Malul Composer - 5ML Decant
Composer is a smoky-sweet tobacco vanilla with a fruity opening that keeps it from feeling heavy. Bergamot, pomegranate, and red currant start it tart and vibrant, then golden benzoin, jasmine, and tobacco leaf move in with a resinous, lightly smoky warmth. Vanilla absolute, ambroxan, and sandalwood finish it creamy and soft. The fruit up front is what makes it distinctive — most tobacco vanillas open dark, and this one doesn't.
Composed by Guillaume Flavigny and released in 2025 as part of Michael Malul's Esquire collection. A cool-weather and evening fragrance by design, though the currant and bergamot give it enough lift to work in daytime with a lighter hand.
Full bottles are 3.4 oz and run about $140. Hand-filled 5ml from an authentic bottle — around 60+ sprays.
