Villain is built as a deliberate walk from light into dark. Grapefruit concentrate, pink pepper, and rhubarb open it bright and almost deceptively fruity, then the green heart takes over — smoked thyme, galbanum, and artemisia, with ylang-ylang softening the edges. The dry down is where it turns: akigalawood, vetiver, myrrh resin, and tobacco settle into a smoky, resinous haze. The transition is gradual enough that you notice you've arrived somewhere else without catching the moment it happened.

Released in 2026 as part of Chris Collins' Sapphire Collection, under the full name Villain Gothams Resin. Reviewers describe excellent longevity with moderate to strong projection, and more than one notes it's potent enough that three sprays is plenty. Built for autumn, winter, and evenings.
