Zest + Vetiver is Michael Malul doing clean the right way. Lemon peel, basil leaves, and clary sage open it bright and herbal — more Mediterranean lemon grove than laundry aisle. French lavender, orris root, and rockrose smooth out the heart, then warm amber, vetiver, and oakmoss pull it down into something earthy and grown-up. Composed by Hamid Merati-Kashani.

Green, fresh, and earthy in equal measure. It reads crisp enough for the office and hot weather, but that vetiver-and-oakmoss base keeps it from ever feeling like a generic freshie.
